I finally got through. We have a pull through in Poplar for July 10-16.

Now working on where to stay after. There really aren't many/any good choices that put us just west of Syracuse. Green Lakes and Fillmore Glen are already full, Wolcott is my backup. I might try something close enough to visit the genealogy library at Cornell -- but not Robert Treman, that was small for the popup and doubt the Solitude would fit -- perhaps Clute Park or Sampson.

Kay and Dave, Just about one-third to halfway up 96 (west side) of Cayuga Lake, there’s a little family owned CG called Spruce Row. Lots of big trailers there, both seasonal and passing thru. Straight shot down the hill and across town (Ithaca) to Cornell. They might only have 30amp service, but almost all the sites able to accommodate your Solitude will have sewer hookup. They have a website. Samson is ok, but it fills up fast as well.

We got in to Turning Stone this afternoon - we're going to be in Poplar Village, site 402 (a pull-thru) from Thursday, July 11 through Monday, the 15th. Lorna and I are looking forward to meeting many Grand Design owners!

Dan, don't give up . I was calling yesterday, started around 9AM. Sat on hold for 20 to 30 minutes at least 3 times. Was dumped to voice mail, and left message. Tried calling one more time and got booked. Just got a call from Lorraine tonight around 5PM. SO hang in there, the rush may be slowing down some.
