New 17MKE Owner
My wife and I just purchased a new 17MKE last Sunday at the show up in Novi MI. This was at the top of our list and just so happened to be the first thing we saw when we walked into the show. We did walk around a bit but there was really no point. We pick it up in Grand Rapids on Saturday and is our first camper for us so all of this will be new. Just sent our 9th child off to college at IU in Bloomington so we are now free to head out.
Any tips we should know before our first outing or must haves? I think I have the add on basics already like our hoses, wheel chocks etc but any suggestions are appreciated.

Congrats, and welcome to the group. The 17mke is a popular Imagine model.
That list that you are asking for can get big and expensive but we'll be happy to spend your money. Lol. I think I'm at $10K in stuff that I bought after purchase, but that also includes a topper, lithium battery. Take your time selecting stuff, and on some, don't cheap out.
Start with a good WDH, good EMS, good TPMS, chokes, fresh water pressure reducer, levelers (lego blocks or Anderson), at least 20ft sewer (I have 4 x 10ft sections), fresh water hose (2 x 25ft easier then 1 x50ft), regular hose for the flush (25ft). This will get you going and protect your RV.
Then, depending on where and how you camp, 50 to 30 dogbone, 15 to 30 dog bone, outdoor carpet, chairs, bbq/smoker/blackstone, water filter, vent covers, slide topper, hose quick connects, beer, wine, 30amp extension cord (we now have an extra 30ft and 15ft because of Ontario Provincial Park), generator, lithium battery..... I'm certainly missing a bunch.Steph & Lise

PI and watchdog are 2 highly rated. Just make sure to get the EMS and not just the surge protector. Both are highly reviewed and they each have their +. https://www.amazon.ca/Portable-RV-Su...7156020&sr=8-1
