    TV inputs/outputs on Nautilus

I have a 21 295RL and cannot figure out how to use all the TV coax lines that are on the nautilus panel. I was trying to watch over the air live TV on the ROKU tv in the bedroom and could not get it to find any channels. Finding channels in the main living area worked fine.

We had the same issue with our Solitude when it was new. After ensuring that the bedroom TV was plugged into the "Cable" outlet rather than the "Sat" outlet (actually tried both), the antenna amplifier was on, and scanning for channels, it still wouldn't pick up anything OTA. I did a little trouble-shooting in the basement (numerous splitters, etc., behind the basement wall) and couldn't find anything obvious, so just chalked it up to bad connections or miswiring. We don't use the TV in the bedroom, anyway, so I just removed it.

Yeah - happy wife, happy life. What I didn't do is get one of the coax RF tracing kits, disconnect everything, and do the tracing. Maybe you're younger and more flexible than I am...

You don’t need to connect anything to the Nautilus panel to view OTA transmissions. Just make sure both tv’s are attached to the cable plug on their respective panels, then make sure the booster button is on. You need to make sure you scan for channels in each new location.

For cable, make sure you have a splitter. Run your signal cable into the splitter, and the a short run to the cable outlet and the aux outlet on the Nautilus, make sure you turn off the booster button.

thanks Bill for the information, for OTA I had the booster off and did a channel scan on both TVs, the rear tv never found a single station. Guess I was doing that right and now need to investigate the cable ends etc.

You need the booster on (green or red light lit) for OTA stations.

Speaking of Nautilus system and cable inputs. What are the TWO sat cable plugs for on the right side of my Nautilus system for. I understand what the three on the left are for. I didn't see anything in the manuals.
