It's not just New England roads that are rough. After traveling all summer I've pretty much decided there are no more good roads in the US, just portions of roads that are good. Too sad.

On the 20,000 lb idea..... Any chance that with a lighter load that the 20k is too much and doesn't flex enough? My rig weights out at just 14k so am wondering which too choose if I go the GB way.

How do you like the GooseBox? Do you think the Gen-Y will improve the ride?

    Thanks!

I don't think there's any way to be "over hitched" with the Goosebox. Because it rides on air, you can see it as infinite adjustment, just add/remove air from the bag. I have no trouble getting the indicator to center, takes about 50 PSI for me in most situations, if my rig was lighter, it would just take less air.

Now, with the GenY, you do have match the hitch (more correctly the suspension in the hitch) to the pin weight. There's no air adjustment, it's changed via bands; so you want to order that with a pretty good idea of what your pin weight is. My 351M, most of the time, is around 3K on the pin when we're ready to travel (just as a point of reference, obviously, your setup will be different).
