I have 2 of these https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CC44TR3/
We use them almost every day as a spot light to light search for critters before letting the dog out at night at our remote cabin. Also use the flood light feature to use when working outside or to light up the inside of cabin when power goes out.

I have an Astrolux FT03 XHP 50.2 that I'm quite impressed with. Light ,battery, and charger around $50
Here's a review that convinced me to get one.

I posted a reply yesterday, and it said it had to be approved.
How long does it take for that?
Yet this one posted right away.

Sorry - I was asleep at the switch and am a bit behind approving some posts.
For new members who are not sponsors posts with links in them get moderated. It allows us to check the validity of the post and the link and thus prevent spammers (we get them often).
You're all set to go. I am not sure how many posts are required before you're post immediately, but eventually they do. In the meantime, if you need some help (or we moderators are slow to respond) flag a post using the black triangle with the exclamation point in it and we'll get a message quickly.Larry KE4DMG

No problem, thanks.
Being new here, I thought I did something wrong.
I hate spammers too.

Streamlight Strion LED is my favorite, it's bright not to big not to small also rechargeable. Also a decent headlamp is very useful.

Look at Nitecore...especially their Tiny Monster series (models designated TM). In all reality, Streamlites are overpriced. Jus look for a light with Cree LEDs...

I have a small Olight Seeker 2 pro. It claims 3200 max lumens & throws 250 meters. Comes with a belt loop holster, charge cord (USB), lithium battery & a mounting kit. Has five settings-turbo, high, medium, low & moon.
They are proud of it $$$$, but it's the brightest flashlight I've ever owned...& it fits in a pocket. I really like the strobe, it will disorient someone in a few seconds.Last edited by Gronk1; 11-25-2020 at 01:34 PM.
