Screen Tents
does anybody have a screen tent that they use when camping?
What do you have and do you mind putting it up and taking it down?
Are there any that can be attached to the awning on the 5ver or is it better to have a stand alone version?
Thanks.Allen & Denise

@FT4NOW Have you found the size to be troublesome at some campgrounds or has it worked out most places?

We try to stay at places with larger sites and it has not been an issue there. I think they do make a smaller version if I recall, but not too much smaller.
In some of those very tourist driven spots where they pack as many RVs as possible into the campground, it would not do well there.
At one of our favorite parks in the Smokey Mountains, they have 10' picnic tables and we put that in the tent and there was plenty of room inside to get to both sides of the table, it was a life saver for the mini rainforest that seems to exist everytime we go up there. I also put up a set of string lights on the inside and it worked out great.

I think you'll like it. Just practice setting it up and taking it down, it's easy once you get the hang of it. I do like that they provided an oversized bag so storage is easy compared to those traditional canopies. When its windy, I take extra stakes and put them outside the tent and tie rope to the rings that pull the walls open and it has done very well. I leave the rope attached all the time, I dont always put the extra stakes out though.
