I take 2 doggie backs on our walks. One for mine, one for the rest or someone who has forgotten theirs. Always leave the restrooms cleaner than when I went in. Do the bathrooms on the road the same way.
Not all that wander are lost!! (Thank you Waze!!)

1 - We aren't big drinkers but do have an outside kitchen with fridge and cabinets that contain adult beverages. We start "happy hour" before unhooking and setting up.
2 - We stay at state parks with hiking trails. I'm an early riser. Every morning I grab a coffee and take the dog for a hike at sunrise, no matter what the weather.
3 - We try to do camper pies once per trip. Blueberry with cinnamon and a marshmallow are delicious!

Any more details or pictures on this blueberry pie? Sounds like it might be pretty tasty.

I love your enthusiasm. No way could I start happy hour before unhitching. If I did not chock, unhitch, level and connect power and water before happy hour, I would spend the entire weekend still hitched to the truck...

We call them Pie Dies (as in Die Cast), but they call them different names.

First, you need one of these. In my opinion, it has to be the round ones, not the square or it won't seal the ingredients properly - https://www.cabelas.com/shop/en/rome...B&gclsrc=aw.ds

Heat up the closed die in the fire
Butter one side of 2 pieces of bread
Place a buttered slice on one side of the die
Add 2 spoons of your favorite canned pie filling - blueberry is my favorite
Add a dash of cinnamon and/or a marshmallow if you like
top with the 2nd buttered slice of bread and close the die
Heat around 60 seconds per side over the fire

You can also do pizza ingredients, ham and cheese, eggs, pancakes. We've tried a lot of stuff! We have 4 of them so we can be cooking at once.

We do two things: 1) we always pack a bottle of our favorite wine for the journey out (and we've never brought one home); and, 2) we look for a good spot near a body of water or forest path to play our Tai Chi forms.

Oh my! I would really love to start happy before unhitching but if something would ever to go wrong after starting happy hour before unhitching, DW would never let me forget. In fact, I think she would constantly remind me and probably even engrave it on my tombstone so that I would be eternally reminded. [emoji56]
