I agree, those landing gear plates with the holes work great for mounting things. I used one of them to mount an aluminum angle and unistrut when I did my fresh water tank dump valve mod.

I know this is going off on a tangent, but could you give me a few details on how you wash your cap, and how you use the Wash-Wax-All kit? Thanks. (I have a kit coming). Rich

Unless you don't mind hanging over the edge to do them. He doesn't.

    We have one like this:

x3 on that collapsing ladder - light and easy to stand it vertical in the basement. At 13.5' on the Solitude, it's a must for me if I can't get to something from the roof!

Here's some closer pictures... and yes it does open up far enough to access the ladder, a small piece of Velcro holds it up when opened. I added a lock & cover keyed the same as the storage compartment.

You're welcome! My previous TT was white so I didn't paint the ladder carrier. I just put this on my 5er several weeks ago, to cold here to paint it black but next Spring it will get done. I actually don't even carry the ladder in it anymore... It's used to carry my two extendable flag poles.
