Interesting Find while performing annual on bearings
After rasing tires off ground, I spun the passenger side rear wheel/tire. Heard what sounded like loose/broken brake magnet but this is what I found. A rogue nut that does not belong in there. All the brake parts where in tact, nothing missing. Assuming this has been in there since assembly at factory. Pleasantly surprised it did not destroy the brakes. Bearings, seals, brakes, all looked good. (6000 miles)
Thank you!

I'm surprised you didn't hear the loose nut bouncing around while backing up.

You ever think the loose nut may be one that holds the backing plate on?.
