28bh recall

I talk to GD and they had me take a picture of the fuse block above the battery. They said from looking at the picture that it need to be fixed.
With out tracing out wires but using a meter I believe I found the wiring mistake. I have now corrected it. I just want to double check to make sure I corrected it right.

Could someone who has a 28bh who has had the recall fixed send me a picture of the fuse block above the battery?

I had mine fixed. The mini breaker on the left is upside down. Make sure the copper stud is on the top side and the silver is on the bottom. Loosen the nuts, flip the breaker, reinstall terminals and tighten nuts.

To the OP. Please, whatever you do, move the bottle of charcoal lighter away from there. If there ever is a short ....well lets say it wont be pretty. It is very dangerous where you have it. I am assuming you have removed the cover. If not you need to get one from GD.

I had mine fixed. The mini breaker on the left is upside down. Make sure the copper stud is on the top side and the silver is on the bottom. Loosen the nuts, flip the breaker, reinstall terminals and tighten nuts.

I didn't even noticed the breaker being flipped upside down. Now I wondering a couple of things.

What I noticed is the the Black wire has no protection being the other red wire on the bus bar where the black wire is connected comes directly from the battery.

Now what I am wondering is.
1) black wire needs to be placed on the other side of mini breaker?
2)mini Breaker needs to be flipped?

(The above Scenario would have the copper bus bar With no Protection. However all the wires would be protected)

Another Scenario would be
Red Wire from battery connects to mini breaker on bottom the other red wire on bottom of mini breaker gets moved to the copper bus bar where that black wire is. This way the copper bus bar is being protected along with the black and red wire. This Scenario would leave the gold screw not connected to the copper bus bar if the copper screw indicates line side of breaker.

Thoughts?
Wish grand design had been more of a description in their recall notice.

Lol.... I even have two one pound propane bottles next to the lighter fluid. Maybe I should do some rearranging....

Powerscol beat me to it. But PLEASE move that bottle of lighter fluid away from any electrical connections.

Now that you mention it, the front space is not vented the best, so the 2 - 1 lb propane bottle need to be moved too. Perhaps there is space by the big cylinders in the vented compartments. If they leak, propane will settle on the floor of the storage area and any spark from moving stuff, static, will set it off.

In my old unit the floor of the propane compartment was heavy mesh screen. That's where I kept my Colman fuel and lighter fluid.

Here's the before and after. Simply flipped the mini breaker. Didn't move any wires around.
