Perhaps he meant where would one be installed. I, too, would like to know where you would install one on the 2800BH.
EDIT: However, after looking at the wiring challenges, location, etc. I think I would probably go with a external unit.

If I get the progressive 50A and plug into 30A using a dog bone, will this still work? Or would I need a 30A version.
I’m planning on getting the plug in version rather than direct wire. I can’t imagine it wouldn’t work, should still smooth out the surge. Only thing is tripping the breaker on the pedestal.

The 50A version works fine with a 30A adapter. I just installed a HW50C Saturday and I use a 30A cable to get power to my 28BH.

Did you have the adapter before the hw50c? Where did you put the remote screen?
