We decided to take our theater seating out and put in two individual chairs. After looking around and trying out different options we bought two "Poang" chairs w/foot stools from Ikea. Liking them so far. They are very light weight and easy to move around. Our TV is in the rear of the camper and we can easily turn the chairs to face our TV. The chairs take up a little more room than the original theater seats but they still fit the space pretty well.

Too bad you're not closer. I could use them for another trailer I have.

I just completed installation of a Christmas gift from my son and his wife (hey it's been cold and snowy) The wall into the cupboard was thin so I drilled holes for each plug and used the retaining nuts to hold the plate to the wall rather than using the mounting screws that came with it. I think it will be very useful. It has 2 USB charging ports and a cigarette lighter type port rated to 20A @12V.

On the inside I screwed an old container over the wiring to prevent it getting damaged when putting stuff in and out of the space (I keep a couple of lanterns in there).

I'm a bit sore now. I've been in the belly of the beast today installing a Progressive Industries EMS-HW50C Hardwire 50 Amp RV Surge Protector - W/Remote Display. The Solitude wires are not very flexible. I just cut the wire and rerouted it so I had enough slack to connect both ends. It's installed upside down, because that's where it fits best. For now, I just put the remote inside the kitchen on the floor under the breaker box panel. The make-up air for the furnace was just too easy to not use. Maybe someday I'll route it somewhere else.

We have been moving everything from the Momentum to the new 2018 374TH-R. Putting everything in the right place takes time. Doing all the added little accessories to help make right has been project after project.

    Carpet on both steps.

Magnetic door catch for the bedroom door.

A towel holder in the bathroom.

A bumper to stop the Samsung refrigerator from hitting the countertop.

I also put vent covers over the roof vents. Truck mud flaps on the truck and a extended handle for the front door. Adjusted the steps so that they fold through the door squarely. The steps were so out of square it took 2 of us to push them in. Just loosened a few screws, used the level to square them up and then re tighten the screws.

Next weekend we finally will be going camping. KEN

    Ken,
Are the carpet strips on the stairs just set there or are they secured? If not secured do they feel like they might slip?

They are from Home Depot. $8.00 I think. They sat there pretty good, but I put double stick tape to hold them better. KEN

Not Ken.....he'll be along here shortly but just wanted to share with you. I cut and installed rubber backed door mats and put them on each step after I fell and broke my foot Thanksgiving of 2017.

I screwed them down with the same screws that hold the top of the step in place. I did not use any adhesive because I want to be able to change them out when it becomes necessary or if I can find something comperable in some shade of brown. My goal was not the "look good" but instead, something functional.....I never wanted to hurt myself or my dogs again. I also added motion detector lights. When one light is activated it automatically activates the light on the other set of steps. I was able to cut two steps out of each door mat.

I got this at Home Depot but I've seen similar product at Lowes.

I turned the step upside down and used a Sharpie to draw the pattern and used scissors to cut it.

This is where I started the screws back through the door mat material...

I try to learn from others. That's why I put carpet on my steps. Plus the dog likes it too. KEN
