Thank you for mentioning this. Can you tell me where the bypass is located? On my old class c is was right by the water tank but I don't even know if I can access the water tank from the inside.

There was an issue with the water at the campground last weekend so I didn't de-winterize yet. I'll probably get to do it next week.

I should have looked, but can you get to the water tank from the inside on the 303? Is the bypass located there or on the control panel outside?

What year is your 303 ? Maybe you shared that somewhere but I did not see that. You may want to add that to your signature and profile page to help with future questions and resolution.

Early year GDRVs 2014-2015 (or through 2016 had the Kantleak) panel and later years have the Nautilus. Which panel do you have ?

Both the Kantleak panel and the Nautilus panel control water heater bypass. There is no need to dig in behind the panels .

For the Nautilus, it is the red valve . . . see Howard's explanations of each mode in post 1 of this thread https://www.mygrandrv.com/fo...755#post199755

We are not full time so our 303 is usually in storage for about 4 months +/-. I elect to do annual preventative maintenance, dewinterize and sanitize and wash the 303 in the same day/weekend. We stay in several areas throughout the spring, summer and fall where we are utilizing the Fresh Water tank and I like to make sure the water tank and lines are clean.

    Hope this helps

Crap - forgot to do the spray ports yesterday. Thanks for the reminder...

Thanks .... Great advise I used this weekend. That plastic plug sure hard to get in without cross-threading ,,, took my time and was patient.

If fitted - clothes washer prep requires a short piece of garden hose and bucket to flush

YMMV but I like to add some RV drain valve lubricant to each tank and toilet when de-winterizing.

    Hi MarkDeb,

I used a garden hose for this a couple weeks ago for the first time. In the past I used a small container under the drain fitting. On my unit, the fittings are so close together, and so low to the cavity where they sit, that it was a bear to get the hose on and off. Do you have the same issue?
