Wall Flex
We just purchased the 27RL fifth wheel and so far we love it!! our last trailer was a bumper pull with no slides so this is a huge upgrade for us and never having a trailer with slide outs we are not sure what is normal or not. my question is when we extend or retract the slide on the door side i notice a bow and flex in the wall when it is fully retracted or fully extended. is this normal? and if so is it doing any damage to the integrity of the trailer framing?
Thanks for any input.

Our vin is 573FR3127F1201021 also the slide on the door side that makes the wall flex doesn't close all the way at the bottom there is a pretty good gap not letting the wheel fender sections line up and when the slide is fully extended I can see daylight in the bottom corner and when I lift the flap of carpet I can see outside, like I mentioned I've never had an RV with slides so this may be completely normal .
Thank you for the help

Hi @pilotkev,
Thanks for your reply with VIN! There will be some "flex" in the sidewall, especially at the entry door. This is normal. However, it sounds like this room needs an adjustment as it should seal at the bottom and there should be no daylight. Please contact your dealer to schedule an appointment to have this addressed. Thanks in advance...
Best regards,
