I don't think they make Timbren Springs for trailers. I went to their web site and couldn't find a pair for a trailer.

Well TheLexx I'm not an expert but as Wicked Ace stated there should be no space between Sumo Spring and trailer frame. I watched the install video and when the Sumo's are installed the trailer is sitting on the Sumo's. No space so no initial joltas you suspect.

They (SUMO) actually want 1/4" to 1/2" initial compression. If there is a gap they were not properly installed. I have them on my trailer.Last edited by powerscol; 01-22-2021 at 07:00 PM.

Drove about 200 miles today. It was the first tow with the newly installed Sumo Springs. I think the ride is much smoother and the 5th wheel looks like it recovers from bumps-n-humps quicker than without the Sumos. I’m glad I put them on - really glad.

Before you head back it might be prudent to give them a once over to check for bolt tightness, etc.
