    Zero G Hose Leaks

Purchased 4 blue and 2 black Zero G hoses from Amazon. They are awesome except for one thing - the blue ones leak! All 4 brand new blue hoses leak at the base where the crimped part connects to the threaded fitting. I thought it was just a bad hose but after checking all 4 they all leak. Even checked with different attachments and confirmed the o-ring gasket is not missing on the attachment. The black hose which does not leak is made differently and even seems of better quality but not labeled 'water safe' for rv and marine use.

Does anyone else have this issue?

I really like how lightweight these hoses are but if they leak they are not going to cut it for me. Although its just water I already had the neighbor RV point out that something is leaking from your wet bay.

I had the same issue with mine. Leaked when it was new. I tossed it.

Amazon returns are easy to make. Or call and have them send you new ones.
Our blue hose lasted about 2 years.

My 100' zero G hose started leaking the second time I used it. Over 30 days so I couldn't return it. Will never by another one.

I have 4 of the zero G. 2 blue and 2 black. I use the black ones almost exclusively though as they are 5/8 inch instead of 1/2. I have not had any leaks. The black ones ARE rated as drinking water save. Check here as it is mentioned in the description and on the hose carton. Click on the 3rd image and look at the blue drinking water glass image. https://www.amazon.com/zero-G-Lightw...73&sr=8-3&th=1

I have 4 Zero G, 2 black and 2 blue. Blue ones both leaked. Returned for two more... those leaked. Stopped using them. As convenient and they were, they're garbage. Oddly the black ones have never leaked and are black flush hoses.

I use some flexible white one I got from Walmart that's not a zero. 50' for $30. It's certainly not as flexible as the zero g, but two months of full hookups and isn't a leak in it.
