    My camera is always on also. Is the camera on its own circuit? If so, surely it is fused separately and maybe a switch could be installed near the breaker/fuse panel?

    The camera prep install from the factory could be wired to just about anything, a vent fan or on the positive side of a light circuit somewhere. If you can find it maybe you can switch it on and off. If not you could wire it to a marker light right above the camera , this is what did as well as others. I hear now that they are to be wired to this light but many have said they are wired to a fan or light or in my case I could not find where it was wired to. I just taped up the old wire and ran the new cable to the light.
