It may require your dealer to do a preliminary inspection first.
The service department said that there was a issue with the 2018 models. The factory would be the place for the repair but I would not be able to do that at this time. The Dealership were we purchased the Reflection has worked with me on other problems and I believe they can repair this with no problem.

So this affects all 2018 models or only specific ones. I have noticed some marking on the vinyl flooring from the right side end roller on my 297RSTS but nothing on the center or the other end.

My 297RSTS is a Reflection Travel Trailer so just hoping it is not going to be more than some scuffing of the floor. I think I can use a thin piece of lexan or something similar to minimize further marking.

The 303 fifth wheel has a heavy kitchen slide and needs a better constructed box floor. I would definitely have the adjustment checked on yours it could be that simple of a fix. Meanwhile, you can buy some Lexan to protect the floor. I got this at a local Home Depot and had it cut there to size.

My passenger side slide tore up my floor. This is caused by your slide being out of alignment. You can fix it yourself with a wrench, but Grand Design recommends that the alignments be done by a dealer. Grand Design paid to have the floor fixed.

I would recommend the following lubrication CRC Dry Moly Lube, (Net Weight: 11 oz.) 16 oz Aerosol Can, Dark Gray, and these sliders: Lippert 134993 RV Carpet Protection Slide-Out Slicker. Both items can be ordered on Amazon. You will need to grind the points off the sliders and may need to shorten them.

Hope they can get the slide rollers right so it does not happen again. They also said the would replace the flooring. Any body else have this happen to them?
Nothing to do with the roller BUT had two screws back out of the slide flooring on the dinette side. Was told by GD that some of the 2018 337RLS trailers had the wrong type of screws inserted and had a few that backed out and gouged the linoleum. They replaced mine. Best way to see if you have that same problem is to use a 2x4 when the slide is half way in and pry up about 2 inches.

    I have 2018 337RLS.
Ironically, I have both issues, the kitchen slide roller gouged the linoleum and the dining room slide had a screw back out and gouge the linoleum.
I contacted GD and worked out that this should be covered under the 3 year structural warranty.
The R is at the dealership for repairs. Dealership said they would evaluate and maybe add rollers.
I talked with GD about the 3/4" versus 1" kitchen slide sub floor replacement, GD said it would be up to what the dealership found in the evaluation as to whether they do an adjustment, rollers, or sub floor, but that they typically work with dealership on the evaluation.
Waiting to see what they have to say.

I have our 2018 337RLS in for another repair at our local service center. Seeing the multiple threads on this issue I contacted GD to ask if the slides should be looked at while there. I referenced the number of cases discussed on this forum in my email. The response I got from Chris Holland at the factory was:

    "Good morning.

Unfortunately with things on social media, they don’t always include all the details so you have to take it with a grain of salt because every trailer and every situation is a bit different.

There really isn’t anything to check per say; on those particular cases the slide damaged the lino when it came in and if you aren’t having that issue, then you are good. There are slide adjustments that are considered part of “consumer maintenance” and there are resources on the Lippert Components website that talks more about that depending on the type of slide mechanism that you have.

If there are any other questions, please let me know.

Thank you and have a great afternoon."

Not sure if I feel reassured that my rig is OK or angry that the touted customer service of GD isn't what I thought it was..............
