Social distancing failing, what comes next?

Just wondering if the seasonal flu concerns y’all this much? For every person in America that has died of Coronavirus, nearly 700 people have lost their jobs. How do you reconcile those numbers?

Larry @traveldawg and Marcy @WhittleBurner - thank you, for your efforts and dedication to reminding folks that this is a camping site in operation to help GDRV owners and other stakeholders with questions/etc. with their GDRV.

Larry - I think you summed up the feeling by the majority of folks who support that mission in your statement - "So maybe go read some other sites to rant on about this epidemic if that's your thing."

We are all dealing with our own challenges with CV-19 and can appreciate the concerns and support possibly needed by others. However, things seem to getting further from being helpful. That direction has no value here to this family community of caring, helpful, courteous, respectful, etc. owners concerned about supporting GDRV owners with their RV and related component items.

This is a great question for "What comes next." Our big lumbering economy has been chugging along pretty good these last few years, this shutdown thing is a big smack down on the economy. It's going to take a while for it to build the momentum (no pun intended) back up. I am sitting here trying to think of ways to help the marginally employed folks get jobs. About the only thing I could come up with is to buy in the local stores as much as possible, of course I have to wait for the stay at home thing to end, but still keeping the cash flowing in the local community is about all I can think of to do.

I'm gonna mow my lawn, do some spring cleaning and maintenance to my house and my camper then maybe I can go camping for a while, make a cobbler, drink a cold one, watch a sunset, kiss my wife and be greatful for whatever we have! Yeh, that's what I'm gonna do!
