    2 Stage Water filter.

Okay, after my first stentor attempt leaked like a sieve, I went out and bought the Beech Lane 2 Stage RV water filter assembly.

It's in, and hopefully no leaks. (Can't test it at the storage lot.)

Yes, I need a much shorter hose there!Click image for larger version.

Moonshadow - it looks like you installed a piece of wood along the nautilus to firmly secure the filter. Or am I seeing just the nautilus box?

Yes, that is a piece of plywood behind the filters. I framed up the backside and attached the plywood to it.

I made a similar setup but used pocket screws to mount the plywood behind the paneling. Purely a cosmetic decision. I used PEX for my connections but may need to rethink the pressure regulator (I currently attach at the spigot) after seeing MoonShadow's setup.

For me, it was just a matter of how many things did I want to connect and disconnect. I have a Y at the faucet, which connects to the hose, which connects to the filter system in the coach. So just the Y and the hose is all I have to pull out.

I had to add a piece of plywood behind the paneling they used as a wall. The type of filter I used is in the link in the OP.

Just going through all the posts, have some spare time. On a previous post someone mentioned to keep the water regulator outside the unit. The logic being that if the source is high pressure then only lower or set pressure is in the bay. It sounded like a smart idea.
