Larry, from what I see Ram changed axle options for 2020. You can get 4.10s in a 2019 3500 SRW. In 2020 the only way to get 4.10s is to go DRW. I custom ordered my current truck and would do it again. I'd like to try 4.10s mated with an 8 speed to see what it's like. My current truck is only rated to tow 12,320 lbs. Going with 4.10s ups that by 3,000 lbs. I have relatives with bigger campers so having more tow capability would be nice. Then mate it with the 8 speed and you've got a pretty good setup. Curious what's coming for 2021!

From what I understand, we aren't getting a gen 5 until 2022 in the HD. I could be wrong.... But I thought 2021 was some updates to standard feature packages (to include some items that used to be $$ options) and possibly some enhancements to the available tech options.

My thinking is that we get the 5 th generation cab updates from the 2018 1500 in 2022 with the increased roof height and smaller rear view mirror along with the bigger crew cab.
