Holding tank swivel stick or ? for cleaning
I don't know where the black holding tank is for my 230RL so, what kind of "swivel stick" do I need to clean it.....what kind/brand do I need and how often should this be done?
Thank you.Msgt Ray (Ret) and Margie Parker

You should have a black tank flush on the trailer that you hook up a garden hose to, that should be all you need to use for cleaning the black tank. The recommendation is to make sure the black tank valve is open when using. if you use the black tank flush with the black valve open and get distraced you can overflow the tank, never want to do that!
We stay at a lot of state parks where all we can do is empty the tanks without any issue. We do make sure and use plenty of water and septic safe tp.

the above should read if you use the black tank flush with the valve closed the you could overflow if distracted or leaving on too long

This is the one that I use. As far as how often, it will be your personal preference. I use mine when I have the time, and it's convenient to do when we're packing up.

The black tank flush on your trailer works but it needs to be done with the valve closed
I use a water flow meter on mine and continually run it for 25-30 gallons then dump and repeat till it is clear
Then I use the flow meter and rinser to put 7-8 gallons back in tank to start using again
I find using the rinser with the valve open does absolutely nothing
But like has been said you can’t walk away from this to do something else while the valve is closed
I use the wand as well on my last day of the season
