    A/C power usage data?

We just put a second SOK 206 AH battery and a Victron MultiPlus 3000VA in our 2021 22RBE. I just ran the A/C for 1/2 hour and according to the Victron SmartShunt we used 76.8 AH of power. It showed about 160-165 Amps of current being used. We have a GE A/C unit. Not sure what I was expecting, but that seems high to me. We have 412 AH total so we could probably get about 2.5 to 3 hours of A/C use from our batteries, maybe more since during the test the compressor was running constantly since the trailer started at about 85 degrees.
Anyone have any data on this?
    Thanks for reading.

RV air conditioners draw 10-15A at 120V when running plus a little bit of power directly from the 12V system. Your AC likely has a plate with the running amps on it.

The 10-15A is roughly 100-150A from the batteries, and allowing for some inverter inefficiency 160-165A isn’t crazy.

@alias100 You and I have essentially the same power setup. As John stated, it sounds about right. I use a small (not so portable generator, IGEN 4500) when I run my A/Cs.

Thanks for the replies. The math makes sense now. I will check the A/C for a plate next time I am on the roof.
Frank, we have the same batteries, Victron and we also have 2 dogs, but our are Mini Schnauzers, Coco and Leo.
