REMOVED NAUTILUS ---tired of the leaks and hard to get tools into
Well it went down to 48 degrees and that when my NAUTILUS began to leak. Getting a tool into the back was a challenge. So i made my own system that has more features than the NAUTILUS and easier to access the back area.
..........
NOTE... the valves used have unions on both side making replacement less than a 5 minute job and no rip off pricing either . Also eliminates internal o-rings causing a problem.
see the photos.... the hardest part was mounting ( 1"copper colored standoffs from Lowes) the back side was easy and not a challenge.2022 Solitude 378mbs-r with 3rd air and solar package, Flux Capacitor pending, Removed Nautilus and replaced with the Bruce Select-A-Matic

@ForBruce
Great work. Looks good. Is there any place to find a schematic diagram of the OEM Nautilus system in Grand Design trailers? I'd like to see how all the valves direct water.2020 Reflection 273MK

Nice work! I haven't touched the nautilus on our trailer yet, but have looked at it thinking when I replace the soft hose, that there must be a more sensible way to plumb it. Looks like you designed a more sensible way.
A couple questions
In boondock mode....the faucets are shut off. Or appear to be.
And the pump valve. That is the output of the pump when the pump is running?Last edited by Scott'n'Wendy; 12-07-2022 at 05:01 AM.

The pump connection is the input of the pump and the faucets get shut off because the output of the pump gets directly into the cold water line

Did not find any schematic on the Nautilus nor did I look for one.
I find the Nautilus to be nothing but a nightmare because if you're in a Campground and you're stuck with a broken Nautilus there is nothing you can do.... Other than trying to find and schedule a repair person...
