Replacing Toilet Water Supply Connector Line

Hello I'm new to this forum and just picked up my first GD camper (used). I noticed a small leak on toilet connection....tape and re-tighten improved but still there. I want to replace the ballcock line but have no idea how to access the other end of the line behind a small storage built-in. I'm sure GD would have provided service access to something like this, hoping I'm missing the obvious.

Troubleshooting is your best bet. Look around and see what you see

But we can’t help at all not knowing what trailer you have

That's not a ball cock valve. It's a 90 degree 1/2" FNPT fitting. The seal isn't made on the threads, so tape isn't helpful or recommended. You can either replace the rubber seal inside or the entire fitting. It's a PEX fitting, but connected to vinyl hose you are bound to get a leak. Actual PEX should be used to guarantee leak free system.

Couldn't he try replacing the fitting with a 90 degree vinyl hose fitting?

Sure could if you can find them, there is a type of fitting that is designed for the vinyl hose, i don't recall the name and I don't think they are as widely available (at least I gather based on other people's experiences on this forum).

The easiest solution, if you can't find the fitting designed for vinyl hose is to buy the PEX fitting and try swapping the seal and see if that fixes your problem. You can get away with a PEX fitting on the vinyl hose, but expect it will leak at some point; others have had success by also using a hose clamp in addition to the PEX cinch rings.

I have a transcend 2150RB, bath setup looks the same. Under the shower the cold water supply has a tee fitting with one side going up to the shower and the other going to the toilet. To access the tee you either have to remove the shower enclosure or remove the toilet along with the ac/heater vent and the rectangular panel next to it.

I had a leak in at the tee connection and removed the toilet and the ac/heater vent and panel to access. Very much a pita. Imagine laying on your stomach and reaching through both access holes with either arm and trying to fix. It was doable however I would hope you never have to do it.

First try and just buy a 90 degree pex fitting and swap out the seal if possible. If that does not work replace the fitting.
