I will second the Milwaukee M18 inflator. Has 150 PSI capability. Much better than the M12. I carry Milwaukee tools and have the M12 vacuum, blower, and a 12/18 charger in the camper at all times.

I am very happy with the Viair that I have. I'm not sure of the model but regardless it easily handles the TV and RV tires in a short time.

    Another satisfied Dewalt inflator user.
It's compact, does fine with my 125 psi trailer tires, and I already had several batteries and chargers.

Another vote for the DeWalt. Super portable without needing to connect to a power source, as long as you have a battery. Very easy to use and a lot cheaper. The light is great during dark conditions.

You can also add the 12v from the car power source and a 110v adapter to the dewalt also, FYI...

Very happy with the Viair 400. Bought the Viair kit for blowing out the water lines during winterization as well. Most times I hook it up to the RV batteries. Have never had to run the truck when hooked up to that.

Agree that it would get old having to always connect it to your running vehicle. I've always connected our Viair to the trailer battery (with and without shore power) and it works just fine. Nothing needs to be running or connected to shore power in my opinion. If I was totally inflating a couple tires that might be another story....

Another advantage of the Viair is that it can be used for winterizing. We return back to MN from FL in early April and when we hit freezing temps I use the Viair to blow out the lines. Pretty slick...just dial down the pressure regulator and connect to the water input side. Can easily be done during a break at a wayside rest.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply to my post. I ended up buying the Viair 400P as my 18V Dewalt cordless drill batteries are getting old and I have not made a decision on a replacement system yet. The other reason for the Viair is to blow the water lines on the way back to Ontario in late March or early April (like ajg617 and roegs01)

I bought this Milwaukee inflator at Home Depot on sale for $199. It works wonderfully. I'd buy it again (on sale). Here's the link: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Milwauke...1868/326514182

Dang! I wish I knew about that before I bought my ViAir. I would have opted for the Milwaukee instead; even though I really like the ViAir. The Milwaukee would have been more convenient.
