Question Kitchen slide making contact with floor on 2021 311BHS

The kitchen slide in our 2021 Reflection 311BHS is making contact with the floor for a few seconds when running it in and out. For most of the time going in and out it's fine, but for a short period it tips slightly inward and makes contact. It did this during delivery and ripped the flooring. The dealer fixed the floor (which looks great, amazingly enough), took off the corner trim piece which had a sharp edge and sanded it down and adjusted the slide and it was fine. Fast-forward 1 week and it's doing it again. I have it in for service now and the repair tech spent some time adjusting it but said he can't get it to not hit the floor. It's slightly better now, but still making contact just briefly. He said he can adjust it so it doesn't hit the floor, but then it's so far out of alignment that it doesn't seal properly.

This is a Lippert, Through-Frame Slide (Electric) and our unit has rollers installed on the outside edge of the RV floor (beneath the slide) that the slide goes over. There are no rollers on the slide itself.

Anyone in here have any suggestions? Service tech's initial thought is that the slide needs rollers installed on the front edge so it will roll over the floor at that point instead of just wood hitting the floor. Grand Design has asked that they loosen all of the adjustment bolts and run the slide in and out to re-seat it, and then try adjusting it from that new baseline. Not confident that's going to help, but I'll know more tomorrow.

This happened with ours. They fixed the floor and adjusted the slide and it’s been problem free ever since

Keep us posted on your solutions. The only thing I can think of is putting some low friction material there for the slide to ride on without getting sucked back in

Yeah, our tech adjusted the slide and got it to a point where it doesn't hit the floor, but then it doesn't seal properly at the top and they're concerned it will leak. Tech believes the slide is too heavy for that setup and really needs rollers on the front of it, but Grand Design wants them to loosen all the vertical/horizontal slide adjustment bolts and run it in and out a few times to let it re-seat in the frame properly and then start adjusting from that baseline instead. We'll see what happens, but I'm definitely nervous about it. Hoping for the best,

This is the correct way to adjust/align the slide to the trailer wall. with it completely in (slide up high against exterior wall, they should tighten all of the adjustment bolts. This should prevent it from dropping once the weight transfers to the inside of the exterior wall and prevent it from hitting the floor.
