Battery level indicator
Hello all,
This winter I took my batteries out and put them on trickle charge. This past weekend I put the batteries back in and hooked them up exactly the same way they were unhooked. But for some reason the indicator inside is saying it's at 1.8% and only charges for a short time when plugged in to house power. 1. I'm confused as to of why they would need to be charged after I just took them off the trickle charge, and 2. What could be causing the indicator to show 1.8% and stop charging on house power.

I would test them with a multimeter to see if they are really discharged or if it is the indicator in the trailer. If they were on a trickle charger I am guessing they are fine and the indicator is the problem.
I don't know anything about the wiring on your trailer but I would also check if the Battery Disconnect Switch is on or off.

When I flip through the options on the indicator it settles at 12.8v I know it's a little shy of the dual battery volt level. But not 1.8%

Here are a few forum tips:
1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.
2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.
3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:
Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)
Note: you'll need to have a paid subscription to add an image to your signature.

Found what was going on, my batteries were fine after using tester on them and at 100%.
Turns out if you have the factory Furrion Solar package, and you remove your batteries for storage over the winter. You need to re-calibrate the little charge indicator on the inside. I used this document page 30 for the calibrating procedure.

Oh yes. When I read your original post I didn't know what to make of it. Wasn't understanding where you were reading 1.8%. I should have asked. Once you disconnect a battery, your monitor won't know what percent charge it is at; it doesn't rely on voltage to determine that. It isn't like the monitor on the panel that lights up strictly based on voltage; which is pretty useless anyway. Glad you figured it out.
