Other than a token, "look I can turn on my air conditioner on battery for an hour" you aren't going to be able to effectively run air conditioners on battery power, especially in a hot climate. The power draws are simply massive. You wouldn't be able to fit all the batteries you'd need on your rig (for enough useage) and you certainly don't have the room on your roof to charge all that every day in addition to your regular use.
So theoretically it is possible, with enough panels, enough batters etc.. Practically, no, it isn't going to happen. You might be able to run an air conditioner for an hour or two, you would have zero useable power left and would likely not be able to fully charge back up during the day and start the next with less than you started with the day before.
In hot weather, an hour or two of air conditioning is a tease. So what would you need? His rosy calculations of 7 hours of full sun isn't practical. So you'd actually need more.

If you need air conditioning to be comfortable, you need a generator or hookups. If you're stationary and have a lot of land you can throw up a battery shed and have at it. Enough panels and batteries you can run almost anything. Don't forget your $$$$$$

I typically use almost no energy when camping. Lounging around a campfire consuming hops and barley is pretty economical, energy wise.

I use one of these to monitor my current draw, and another one to monitor my power output from my panels. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 @TucsonJim, what do you use for a transfer switch?

No transfer switch Chris. I turn off the converter and then plug right into the inverter..

I don't consume much energy at all. Try to just grill and drink beer.
