Here's the spring hanger from the bottom.

Definitely, some sideload going on. The springs are also out of whack... there's only a keeper on one end of the spring.

I hope there's an alignment pin on the axle housing, otherwise, we'd be losing some springs on the road at some point.

Nothing loose, none of the welds looked cracked... The backing plate to axle housing was tight... The only odd thing is that both the front and rear axle housings have a slight bow in them (bow up in the middle). That isn't likely the culprit as it would force positive camber, and you can see in the initial photo, That rear wheel looks like it should be on some "stanced" import car.

Has anyone come across something like this? I have to bring it in for the propane line recall... I guess I can add this to the list... Anyone remember how long the warranty is for the suspension?

Agree, definitely some side loading happening. That spring is crooked. Maybe the spring hanger itself bent when backing into a site or a sharp turn. Maybe, don’t say it…bent axle. Oofff.

What does the other side look like?

    Very interested.

Bow up in the middle is good. This is the normal bend on an axle that is not overloaded. Flat or bowed down in the middle is bad.

    Hi Rob,

Don’t think he is worried about the springs flattening out. It is more of a misalignment of the springs to each other and the parallelism to the frame and axle. Definitely something not right.

I also don’t see a spring alignment band to keep them together.

Here is a picture of the springs in my 2 year old rig.

Well....in the second picture, there seems to be something going on with the spring pack...but I'm not sure what...
    The leaf angles..are... just off.
But....I don't see ANYTHING that would account for that excessive camber in post #1 though.

The only thing I might have done in addition to what has been done, would have been to totally disassemble the brake/hub/axle housing. Something is definitely wrong, but nothing jumps out as out of whack. Although those leaf springs do look a bit odd, but not sure how those would contribute to the leaning wheel assembly.

    Was the road crowned?

By looking at your picture, comparing the bottom of the Solitude with the road, it sure looks like the road is not level there.

Also, if you watch your wheels while turning, they will look like that.

I wasn't going to post, but now that you have looked at the obvious, it may just be the road conditions.

Is the rim cracked by chance? It could be bending on tight turns one direction, then fixing itself on the next turn the other direction.
