    What is this device?

    I removed the basement rear panel in our 2021 Reflection 337RLS, and I'm not sure what this device is that is located under the stairs.

    It is the MULTIFUNCTION UNITY X1.5 ASSEMBLY. It is part of the OneControl system by Lippert.

    Thank you Stephen. I did see another One Control device up front. I'm not going to touch either in my electrical project.

    According to LCI, it's a multi-function "Unity" system. Perhaps uses input from your One Control panel to do other stuff?

    That is the "brain" of the One Control (aka Compass Connect) no system. This control box is connected to the panel via canbus...which relays commands from input to control.

    The upper left wire is the canbus input. Note that the second canbus connector has a terminator on it.

    Lower left is DC power.

    The right side is switched output wiring for lights, awning, slides, etc. (This is where I put a dimmer for main and awning lights...simply disconnected the lighting output wire and wired a dimmer in line.)

    James,
    To do the dimmer, you disconnect the lighting output from the module and connect a 12VDC+ to the dimmer and the other side you re-connected the output of the module to the light. Is this correct?
    Thanks Larry.

    Wire the output of the control board that used to go to the lights to the input side of the dimmer. Then wire the lights that were connected to the control board to the output of the dimmer.

    What FlyStar said...

    Control -> Dimmer + input
    Dimmer + output -> Lights (wire removed from control)

    I used high side dimmers (dimmers that work on +) as my understanding is the low side dimmers (work on -) won't work with common grounding. As a result, I just connected the dimmer - to the - post that feeds the entire control (bottom left of control).
