Hi everyone! We aren't GD owners yet but hopefully will be soon. Talked to salesman yesterday and now are waiting for him to come back with a figure for what will be a 2022 Transcend Xplor 245rl. Know it is a new model for GD but were hoping to get feedback from current owners about them as I've had difficulty finding much online. We are kinda typical story. Tent camped with 3 boys for 6 years, pop-up for 12 (loved it but wanted a bathroom) and a hybrid for 3 years (also love it). Now we want a real bed without canvas to deal with, a toilet with a PPP and an adult shower that my fat behind actually has room in. Terrible at backing in and am a little nervous about something that is 9' longer if anyone else out there went through that and would like to address that. Currently weekend warriors that hope to do some longer trips when we retire. Well, that's us. Very excited about the prospect of a new RV and being a part of the GD community. Hope to hear from some of you.

Welcome aboard. I have trouble backing in also. I watched my wife do it as she is really good at it. Lots of tricks to it and practice, practice.

Very nice,
Congrats to you both
We are in the process of ordering the transcend 321bh ourselves.
They look nice and I here the tech support and this forums made the difference for us.
I personally think backing a longer trailer is easier than a short trailer this is my opinion anyway.
Good camping this year.

KYD (Keep Your Daydream) has a good video on backing towable RVs:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8qNF...epYourDaydream
The only reason I was halfway comfortable backing our first TT and then fifth wheel was that I had spent the previous 40 years towing and backing boats - up to and including fixed keel sailboats. A large, empty parking lot and plenty of orange cones for practice are your friends.

I've got a Ford F-150 with "Pro Trailer Assist" and backed for the first time today, with a rental trailer. Incredible!! Then I tried backing with the Pro Trailer Assist turned off..........Tragic! Practice, practice, practice...............or technology.

Thanks to all of you for the help and encouragement. I have seen KYD's video & will watch again along with Mike's from Wandering Wagners. Also would love to hear from 245 rl owners about their trailers.
