Squeaky floor in bedroom
Hi folks, I have a squeaky floor at the base of our bed in our Reflection 29 RLS. I do have access to the framework from the main storage compartment. Any thoughts?

If you use the search function on the forum, you'll find dozens of posts on this topic. It's quite common and not exclusive to Grand Design. It usually occurs where sheets of sub-flooring butt together. If you have carpet, some people have had some success with finding one of the aluminum floor joist and driving some self-tapping, counter-sunk screws in. Of course, you can't do this with vinyl flooring without pulling up the flooring. Our 2016 Reflection 337 had a squeak between the foot of the bed and the dresser that came and went with the seasons and humidity changes. We just ignored it.

This can be a bit messy, but get one of those hobby syringes with the long metal needle (they are blunt end) and inject some glue (expanding type) like gorilla brand. between the aluminum floor joist and the flooring in the loose area. To make room you can use a thin putty knife as a temporary wedge. It will foam out, so first protect the side of the aluminum frame with tape and put paper under to catch any drips. The other way is if you have a foam gun with the metal tip, you ca do the same procedure, but inject a bit of foam.
Rob also has good thoughts, but you will need a very good stud finder to find the stud through the flooring, unless you pull the floor covering and find the existing row of fasteners. Of course if you have the floor covering off, you drill up on each side of the floor beam so you know where the floor support is.
Hope this helps
