    Red Power Switch Handle

Does anyone know where I can purchase a new Master Power Switch Handle for Control Panel on our 2600rb? It is like a plastic red key switch that kills the power to the RV.

Then one I have is abotu wore out and we need to buy a new one.

    Thanks

I leave mine on full time & wired in a Blue Sea master switch. The stock switch leaves certain items on that will eventually drain your battery.

I know not much help in finding a new handle.

I'm getting ready to completely remove ours, since I have one I put in right off the battery. I'll try to get it done this weekend.

PM me if you are interested in it. Only thing I'll ask for is that y'all pay shipping.

I agree with what has been said. I also leave mine on all the time and only use the disconnect I added directly at the battery. Its on my to do list to completely remove the original one eventually.

I too leave mine on all the time. And so far...see no need for a disconnect switch. When I store the trailer I take out the battery so....I dunno, never seem to need one.

The disconnect on mine works just like it's supposed to, and I leave the battery in the trailer, turn the disconnect, and hook up the solar charger. Lots easier than disconnecting and pulling the battery.

Same here. With the stock disconnect off, this is what it draws.

This is rare. Most of us do have parasitic draws that will drain the batt in a week or 2.
This is why I installed a disconnect right on the battery outside. Quick, easy and it completely disconnects it. No unscrewing the cables. https://www.bluesea.com/products/cat...tches/m-Series
You can see the red nob on top of the battery box. Click image for larger version.

I don't know how rare it is, most people complain about it when their battery goes dead. But how many people never say anything because their battery doesn't go dead because their disconnect works like it should? Can't base everything on just the complaints, because not everyone complains.

Google for the switch. I have found what looks like the same switch on Google in the past.

Call Grand Design parts with your VIN and see if they have the switch.
