    Slide making marks

    Hello Everyone, I don't post much but I read alot on this forum. We have a 2022 310GK Solitude and I am worried about the dinette-recliner slide. It is leaving what I call scuff marks on the floor. This unit has only been opened up twice by us and maybe 4 times by the dealer. We are just worried about continuing opening and closing if its going to scuff to a hole. I layed on the floor while the wife moved the slide and could watch the slide do the drop but never really touched the floor other than the initial drop. It may or may not be touching the floor at the beginning where the scuffs start. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Welcome to the forum. Contact your dealer and/or GD for adjustment. Ours began as a scuff mark and after about 1.5 years turned in to a tear.

    We use these for that slide (not a bad problem in our case). They work on hard flooring, too.

    @Headsouth,

    A few forum tips:

    1) If you use "Reply With Quote" (to the right of "Reply") as I have here, folks will know to whom you are responding and that person will get a notification.

    2) You can also tag folks using the "@" symbol and their user name (as I have done yours) - they'll also get a notification that way.

    3) You can create a signature block with your RV and tow vehicle information (see mine below). That way you won't have to repeat that information whenever you post or ask a question - and others won't have to ask. You can create a signature by going to:

    Forum Actions (on menu bar) -> Edit Profile -> Edit Signature (under My Settings on the left)

    Hi, Rob:

    The information on these Lippert slide-out thingies implies that they are designed with carpeted rooms in mind, thus having dimples or grippers on the bottom. Did you clip/scissor/scrape those off to use them in your 310, since that's entirely a vinyl floor?

    The "grippers" in our case were a couple of strips of foam on each one. There are lips on the squared ends and I removed those (don't remember if it was with dikes, a utility knife, or a file... it's been a while). Anyway, they're working fine on the vinyl flooring.
