I have a solution... Buy a large cat, preferably not the overweight lazy kind I've seen in photos on this forum.
Train him to hang out on the roof during the day. Cats freaking love being up high anyway so it shouldn't be difficult.
If that doesn't work, train him to pour Habanero sauce on the roof.
    You're Welcome.

You could try adding a film of habanero sauce along the edge.
    Hello,
Pepper sauces will not work for birds. Only mammals.

Shucks - and here I was hoping to get some flavor in them before the BBQ

Question - will any of the sonic devices out there work?

Then just a few days ago, out here in the middle of nowhere in the Nevada desert another annoying crow showed up.
    He was alone and persistent.
Unfortunately for him there are no witnesses out here and I’m a crack shot with my Steyr.

Crows are better behaved in Oregon, They don't travel in murders just gangs.

Now that I think about it seriously, I've known people (including my wife when she had her log cabin in Tennessee) who were able to keep birds away with realistic rubber snakes. Others have had success with realistic owls, too.

When living on Gunterville lake in North Alabama, the way people attempted to keep crows/Ravens off vehicles where we hung out was to keep a dead crow/raven on roof to try to deceive them into thinking it was a bad idea to peck there. Sometimes it worked and sometimes they got smart to the idea. People also used pvc pipe over windshield wipers to protect from the birds.

I come from the boating world. Several thing might work
    1) a fake owl
    2) A few compact disks tied on strings to antennas, radar units, or gps antennas....they reflect light and have light wind movement...on RVs I guess you’d tie to antennas or ac unit.

The fake owl does not work...twenty years in the houseboat business proved that!

The newer ones with the wind blown wings I think work a little better, but you’re right... the birds get used to the owl not moving and are like, “what’s with that statue”?

Off kilter idea: Laser lights projector.
See some fruit farmers are installing the $10K automated systems, like bird control group's.
