And the aux. tank is another big weight hog in reducing the payload capacity of the truck. You are likely overloaded.

I have bags with a compressor, no tank. The system doesn't need one as the compressor adjusts bag pressure automatically to what I have set with my remote.
I agree they do nothing to increase payload. I use them to lift the weight off the overloads a little & to level the truck.

@Maximus216 I put shrader valves into the system (located behind the fuel fill door) in case the compressor dies, or the remote dies & I forgot to pack a spare battery...done this

I am also shopping for a new truck and I'll share some numbers I've seen regarding Max Cargo Capacity (payload).
These are all for 2022 Ford F250 XLT 4x4 6.7L Powerstroke and the numbers are from the yellow door stickers.
    F250 XLT - 2,300# F250 XLT with High Capacity Trailer Tow Package w/PTBA - 2,925#
Keep in mind if you get one with heavy options, that will lower this payload number, Ex: the moonroof option dropped these numbers by about 80#
    I bought a 2022 F350 Lariat 4x4, 6.7L Powerstroke w/o moonroof, the payload number is 3,527#
    for reference I traded my 2019 F250 XLT 4x4, 6.2L gas and it's payload number is 3,274.
Again, all these numbers are directly from the door stickers I looked at.
    Hope it helps.

Some of us have compressors with air tanks though....mine feeds the air horns and I can manually inflate the air bags if needed...or air up a tire.

We towed our 2018 320MKS with my 2014 F-250 6.7L for the last couple of years with NO issues at all. Have never felt unsafe and when we had everything weighed as a rally last year, the weight guy said we were good to go as far as capabilities.

Get weighed and check the ratings on your tires, I found I was over weight before loading rig with my 2018 f250 diesel srw

    I wouldn’t tow that with a F250 diesel.

We’ve been pulling our 2017 337RLS for over 6 years. Pulled it with a 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 and F350 diesel short beds. Payloads ranged from low of 3484 to 3523. Pin weight of 337 ranged from 2800-3000 depending on how loaded. We were right at and sometimes slightly over payload after 2 people, dogs, Andersen 5th wheel hitch and cargo in the truck.

Last month took delivery of a F450 and yesterday was first towing experience. The 450 has about 4800 lbs of payload so payload is no longer an issue. The 450 is more stable. It got 10.5 MPG at 62 MPH towing the 200 miles yesterday. It’s my first long bed and first dually. Parking at the supermarket is fun. The 450 turning radius is better than our 350# but the length is a challenge in parking lots.

Short answer: no. 250 6.7 Lariat is going to have around 2300 lb payload. From others comments, you will be way over payload. Make your dealer find a 350 for you. If they won't, find another dealer, or get them to order you a 350.

I tow my 2019 320MKS with my 2010 RAM 3500 dually megacab 4x4 and it tows perfectly. I looked at the 250/2500 and it would tow it but be right at the limit or a bit over. I get the slightest bit of squat the truck is nearly level when towing. I would love to upgrade to a Freightliner M2 112 but budget just won't allow that.

You definately have the towing ability but the issue that always arises is what is your cargo weight rating on your door sticker vs your fully loaded pin weight.
I found that when I had my Keystone Montana I was way too close with my F250 for comfort. So I went to an F350 longbed crewcab with the 12,400 lb rating.
Good thing because I moved into a Momentum 376TH and when I did I knew that the 4100 lb cargo wt rating I now have has plenty over and above my loaded pin weight.

I have a 2019 F250 Crew Cab 4x4 6.7 and I am towing a 2019 320 MKS just fine with it. Lazy Days in Tampa had an additional 500 pounds of leaf springs added to the rear. No issues. I did have to put 2” lift on the camper to tow level.
