I've run mine just to see if it would, and it does. I didn't leave it on battery though as I only have 2 batteries. To run the AC pulls about 1850w. With losses and a few other things running, that is pulling 160 amps from the batteries. 80 amps each for any length of time is probably not great for them. I would like to have 4 batteries to do AC things. It is also close to the limit of my inverter, so would want to make sure the DC voltage stays up so the amperage stays down. Things run cooler with higher voltages as long as they are made to use the higher voltage, of course.

Here is something fun to think about. 1500 watts at 13v is about 114 amps. When your voltage drops to 12v it is 125 amps. The more amps you draw, the more heating you will have in conductors, increasing the resistance, and dropping the voltage more. Running the AC from battery/inverter is serious stuff.

I’ve run my water heater on electric while also running the microwave and air fryer at the same time, dry camping... that’s 275 amps!

    Lithium is awesome.

Even at a slower rate... the battery size physically doesn’t hold the advertised capacity. 90ah does not equal 100ah and the prismatic cells inside are labelled 90! It’s like trying to get 1.2 quarts out of a 1 quart bottle.

Of course this video comes out the day I ordered four lol. I feel pretty good for the price I paid, but still seems a little deceptive.

    Yup, you’re 100% right.

I was noticing amazon has renogy 100ah batteries for $765. Anyone here using those?
