RecPro RV Furniture
Anyone here have any experience, positive or negative, with RecPro RV furniture.
Looking to replace my Thomas Payne furniture. Haven't found what I want/like that will fit from local furniture stores here. So, started browsing RecPro website this morning. Looking at the RecPro Charles 67" double RV recliner
https://www.recpro.com/copy-of-recpr...-with-console/
and a matching recliner sofa for the sofa location.
Any inputs on quality, comfort etc would be greatly appreciated. I plan on this 5er to be my last, and willing to pay for a quality product. Not giving up on finding a La-Z-Boy configuration, but local stores don't have what I need/want.
Thanks in advance for any input

Wow... 91 views and no comments.
Ok.. maybe try this. Does everyone like the Thomas Payne furniture or if you've replaced it, what did you replace it with?
Thanks

Hi Mike,
Another way to come at this is to use the search tool in the upper right corner. Enter RecPro and you will find several threads and comments from those who have this furniture and/or have looked at it. My comments in post 5 after our visit to their Elkhart distribution centre last summer.

We hope our Thomas Payne stuff holds up but we will see. We replaced some furniture in our first motorhome with Lazy Boy stuff and it was great. In our second, most recent motorhome, we used Flexsteel to replace a jackknife sofa and a theater seat from a company call Best furniture. We purchased both of those from Countryside RV Interiors in Junction City, OR. It was holding up very well when we traded the coach.
If we need to replace the Thomas Payne stuff, we will look again at Lazy Boy, Best or others.
Lambright is another option. Not cheap but well made especially for RV's.

You know Rob.. I normally do just that before I post. And for whatever reason, I didn't this time. Thanks for the link and the reminder.

I'm another victim of the leather delamination of Thomas Payne furniture. It's impossible to reupholster metal framed furniture like what i have.
We have considered RecPro, FlexSteel and Lazy Boy. But I have 12' feet of slide to cover--$2K plus. RecPro looks like the furniture we presently have, but with better quality "leather" or vinyl. FlexSteel is mid line in quality and pricey. Lazy Boy is not very high quality furniture.
Another option would be to go with a sectional. The big problem is finding sections that are affordable.
The biggest problem with RV furniture is getting it in the relatively small door--especially with a wall in front of it in our fifth wheel.
