    Water pump continues to run.

This year when I turn on the water pump (dry camping at the moment) it continues to run ,at first you can hear the pump operate at the normal operating sound ,then after a couple minutes the sound drops off, more like a whine, but,it is still working.Do not see any visable leaks anywhere.Could this be because of air in the lines ?

Make sure your outside shower isn’t turned on. Or maybe one valve in shower or sink is slightly open?

Or you have a bad pump.

Open all the fresh water valves and run the pump until it produces good water at all faucets. That will pressurize the system properly. Once that is done, the pump should stop running after a bit. If it continues to run or does not produce water pressure after that it's probably the pump.

Could be the cap for the pump strainer is loose or cracked. It's a clear plastic threaded on cap located on the inlet side of the water pump.

Also could be a bad or stuck pressure switch at the pump.

Your pump is located behind the Nautilus panel , behind the false wall toward the back of the pass thru storage. There are about 4 screw that go thru the wall and into the edge of the Nautilus panel. Removing these screws and moving the wall out of the way will give you access to the pump. You will need to remove some stuff from the storage area for this.

If you take a moment to create a "signature" in your profile that includes at least the model of trailer you own, it can improve the advice you get. What trailer do you have?

@Country Campers advised that, "There are about 4 screw that go thru the wall and into the edge of the Nautilus panel. Removing these screws and moving the wall out of the way will give you access to the pump."

On our Reflection and Solitude the access panel that must be removed to access the water pump and other equipment was/is an angled wall panel further inside. It was is NOT attached directly to the Nautilus panel, but begins about 12"-18" further inside along that wall.
