Lube your Schwintek slide couplers!

I was instructed by the service tech to hold the button for 3 sec after opening or closing slide. Have done it this way for the 2 1/2 years I’ve owned it

I was told to hold for 10 seconds after they shut down

We will hold the buttom until we hear both motors stop and then count to 3.. Done!! Thanks for all the input...

I can also tell you from experience that if you do not lube the system you will discover the system is more prone to get out of sync. If they are well lubed the system tends to have less problems.

Just lubed my system - very noticeable improvement; Much smoother, etc. Thanks for the info everyone!

Be sure to resync the Schwintek now that it is moving better. You will need to do the resync procedure at least 3 times.

Also be sure to use the recommended (by Lippert) the CRC Power Lube with PTFE. Its only $14-$17 for an 11 oz can. You can find it at Graingers.
