    I'm betting you will be happy with your choice. That F450 is a great truck. After seeing how sharp are neighbors can turn with his truck that has the wide track front end it makes me want to get one.

    Another one bites the dust. Just kiddin.
    Congrats and THAT is a great truck

    Does Ford require so many miles at different speeds before towing?
    My Chevy had this recommendation.

    My 2017 did. I think it was 500 or 1000 miles.

    More coming;

    I have studied break-in periods slightly. Old school says you must run the engines in light load to heat the valve seals so they will seat. No longer the case with ultra-engineered engines. Last I read you need to run the vehicle 500 miles so the brakes will wear in... The dealer today had no problem with me hitching my 20k trailer and towing at a grand total of 3 miles on the new truck.

    I am thinking break in is not as big a deal as it once was.

    I agree. I think "break in" these days is primarily for the rear end (ring & pinion). In any case, it is not nearly as critical as it used to be and what is the limiting aspect has changed over the years.

    Nice truck Dallas, great taste! It is nice to know that you can now tow pretty much any fifth wheel on the market!
