Decal Replacement on 2014 Reflection 303.
I’m planning to replace the two maroon decals on the front of our 2014, 303 and have watched several YouTube videos. Some use soapy water to install and others do not, does anyone know what GD suggest? Should I use soapy water or just peel and stick?

Mike - a few folks have reported replacing decals over the years. Seems most have the best luck with heating the "old" with a hair dryer or heat gun, etc. using a plastic putty knife type of tool. I noticed that the top of our street side upper decal has a couple white looking lines starting to develop on the maroon area. I will be following your process on this.
Also, maybe Steve's @huntr70 dealership has done this a few or many times. Hopefully Steve will chime in with his feedback. Thanks, in advance, Steve !
And, folks who have done this hopefully will chime in too.
Gary and Marcy @WhittleBurner - anything to share if you have done this to your 2014 303 or know of others who have ?

I replaced a decal on my 2020 337. Your trailer is a lot older, where are you going to get the decal? Ask the supplier how to install it.
I had to tuck the edge of the graphic behind a trim piece. The decal had a manufacturer name on the back and I contacted them to ask if using soap water was ok and they said,
“ This film should be dry applied. It can be applied wet, but I highly advise against since it has air egress channels. If you do need to apply wet, use a solution called RapidTac 2. It will evaporate out the quickest of any type of slip solution. If you can’t find that maybe make your slip with 10-20% isopropyl (90% or higher iso) and keep any soap to minimum. ”
I used the Rapid TAC II on the edge and it worked well. The rest of the decal was dry applied with the hinge method.2020 Reflection 337RLS

We removed the decal at the top of the nose (light sandy colored) because it got all splotchy and pitted looking. My husband spent several hours, over several trips removing it. Nail polish remover, WD40, soap and water, alcohol were all used at various times, along with a plastic scraper and fingernails.
Once it was off, we just left it that way. $300 was way too much for a decal that was probably going to go bad in 2-3 years anyway. We think it looks fine.

Our corner decals were replaced once by GD service at about 3yrs old . A few yrs have gone by and the front decals are faded and looking horrible. GD used an eraser wheel to remove them.
When we decide to remove the decals we will either leave the front naked or look into putting on
a vynil wrap. I am pretty sure the old style decals are long gone. If they do exist I would not invest in them.Marcy & Gary

Thanks for all of the replies. I have only removed the two maroon decals, the others are in good condition. I purchased the new decals from Grand Design, the decals for a Reflections 303 RLS 2016 will fit a 2014. I called GD to see what they suggest and they said to install dry.

Yep, most of the decals go on dry. It all depends on who made them from what material.

I’ve been removing decals as they slowly deteriorate. The red colored ones seem to show wear & tear the worst. I use GraphXoff. It’s a gel that is applied with a chip brush. Wait 10-15 minutes and use a plastic scraper to remove the decal. Reapply the GraphXoff on the glue residue and scrape off. Done.
I have a set of front decals GD sent me a few years back. I’m not replacing any of them as they will just deteriorate in a couple - three years as well.2022 Imagine XLS 22MLE
