    Water In Belly

BACKGROUND: We fulltime in our rig and have been having an on going problem with water leaking out of our belly on four separate occasions now over the past one and a half years. On the first 3 occasions we got a RV repair facility (once) and an Mobile Tech (2X) attempt to t/s the source of the "water leak". All three were unable to find the source and said that the system was tight. Three days ago the problem resurfaced after being doormat for about 4 months. This morning the ground under the belly is dry (we cut a 12" slit in the belly to drain the water) on day 1 and it leaked a,, the way until yesterday afternoon. We are moving today but was able to coordinate with a Mobile Tech to meet us at our next park in Raleigh, NC when we get there. I am afraid he is also going to be unable to determine the source.

QUESTION: Is it possible for rain water to leak from somewhere else (roof?) into the belly? We have no evidence of water anywhere else in the rig (that we can see) including the basement. I ask this because the problem only appears after going through a heavy rain event.

The coroplast isnt 100% water tight, it's very likely for water to enter while driving in the rain.

Does "going through a heavy rain event" mean driving in heavy rain or heavy rain while stationary?

This last one was driving. Honestly not 100% sure of the first 3 as the memory is foggy.

In that case, as @FT4NOW said, it's not unheard of for water to get into the underbelly from heavy rain while driving. Other things that are harder to find are leaks where the fill line enters the fresh water tank and where the vent pipes enter the tops of the waste tanks. These can take a fiberoptic scope to find and diagnose. That said, if it's only happening during heavy rain events, I would bark up that tree first.

Ruff-Ruff - Thank you both. I think we found a possible point of entry just aft of the forward jacks. Won't know for sure until we're driving in the rain.

    Thanks Again,
