    110v outlets with USB ports

    Hey all,

I have been searching for a 110v outlet replacement that has USB included...

The only one I have found so far for the RV is $49... on Amazon

What other options are out there?

In our 2022 Imagine, at the rear recliners, we have 110 outlets and there is really no room to install USB ports next to them so I would like to R&R the existing

    Thanks, Rick

You can purchase a residential version with USB ports for about $20 at a big box store and use an "old work" box to hold it in place. I've replaced every broken RV outlet with residential versions and old work boxes, works out great. Sometimes you need to use the shallow version though.

I picked up a box of 6 110V outlets with USB ports from Amazon back in 2020. I replaced a handful of outlets in the trailer. Use old work boxes since AC outlets are a different animal in RVs. These outlets are a bit different in design than a true residential outlets. I will say the outlets are super handy around the TV areas for streaming devices like rokus and fire sticks. I also installed outlets in areas in which we had charger adapters in place. Now it is just USB cords instead.

    Good luck with your project.

Here is one at Amazon for 20 bucks if you want the convenience.

There is a variety ranging from $15 all the way to $50.

Some folks forget that those receptacles are only on when you have shore power.

I installed several USB from 12v locations as we rarely have FHU. https://www.amazon.com/Magnadyne-WC-.../dp/B0814BN12N

Exactly. We added an outlet with 4 USB ports connected to the 12V system for just that reason.

These are excellent as well . Used the white version of these on my class a a few years back. They work great. The ac ones charge faster but both are excellent.
