Skiddy if you want to keep things simpler look at the S Class Solitude (not a big choice in floor plans tho) the tv is out in the open and you can manually work the slides (ele vs hydrolic) in case of problems plus you can open the slider widows wide to let some air in. Plus the stove is not the closed burner, which could possibly mean repairable instead of having to replace if something goes wrong.

The TV not going up or down probably will not be a problem. The recliner breaking down, probably will. The recliner is only screwed down in the front, so if there is a need to get out of the reclined chair; it will be tipping forward. Not good. KEN

How do you and @ScopesNC sleep at night when you worry about so much?! Your claim above is not true.

Both the slides and the TV can usually be moved if their motors aren't working. The TV is lifted by a long screw that sticks out atop the mount; get a pair of pliers or a drill and turn the screw. Hydraulic slides can usually be operated with a drill. I forget the emergency method for electric slides but there is one (IIRC they're disconnected and then pushed in).

Further, these things you're fretting about are some of the things that happen least often. Even the recliner failure isn't common. Despite what reading here can make someone think these trailers don't typically break down daily. You do get a little time to enjoy your trailer and methinks you should be spending more time thinking about that aspect of owning one.

This coming from a guy who has had LOADS of problems with a year-old trailer and about the worst-possible dealer service!

Well TV up or down and slides aside I'm enjoying the camper right now on it's maiden voyage. We have been in the Smokies for the last 6 nights and the camper has been almost flawless. Were in the Pigeon Forge area right next to the Smoky Mountains National park.

This new type awning I have not figured out . Not sure how one sets one side lower to make the rain run off. That is just my lack of knowledge. The camper has been top notch.
I have found some fit and trim things that are of poor craftsmanship. This is still the best first outing of the 5 campers we have owned over the years. Something did not work on each of the others. Everything has worked as designed on the 2670 MK. So while it may not be of Grand Design it has been a nice complete working camper. Can't ask for more.

My question about the TV is still a reasonable one. There is just no easy way to get that TV up or down if that system breaks. My hope would have been there is. Can't have everything, and I do see that as a not so good design. I won't lose any sleep over it for sure. Thanks for the input though. Nice to know the slides can still be drawn in if need be.

@boyscout and @ScopesNC, not really losing sleep at all, but I do wish the GDRV manuals had some information in them for the time when a slide will not operate. In the everything is somewhere on YouTube world we live in, there will be a video showing how to get a slide in so you can travel.
As good as GDRVs are, like just about everything else they can always be better and it is owners like us that incent them to do just that.
Boyscout as you point out, there must be way to disconnect and manhandle a non-responsive slide. Why not describe how to do it? It is all good, conversation, suggestions and comments improve the experience.

The through frame slides are manually operable using a crank handle supplied with the coach.

Skiddy, in your case the 2150RB has a Schwintek slide. To manually put the slide in you disengage the motors and push the slide in by hand. Might take two people to push a large slide.
Here's a good video demonstrating this.

I agree, the owners manuals from GDRV don't provide enough info.

I'm not certain which awning you have. On our current trailer, each arm has one of those spring-loaded aluminum buttons and several different holes that the button can be moved to rest in. On our previous trailer there was a plastic-handled screw that could be loosened and a stopper piece slid up/down the arm to change its geometry. Pretty easy on either system to adjust one arm so that side of the awning dips at a sharper angle than the other.

Do we have different definitions of "easy" or am I not being clear enough in describing that you CAN easily lower the television by cranking on the long vertical screw in the center of the lift, the screw that the little motor at the bottom turns to lift the television? Chances are that a drill could be clamped onto the upper tip of that screw to wind it down but if not a pair of pliers could be used to turn it down. Easy peasy.

@Chiefblueman, thanks for the video, much appreciated. The 2X4 used to block the now disconnected slide and stop it from travelling is something I need to add to my “tool kit”.

It would have been nice to have a paragraph in the manual describing this procedure.

I'll take a closer look at the top of that long screw and see if it can be worked with. Thanks for the nice video link to the slide out .

I looked today. The top of the screw shaft is just ground off flat.
