Bed Clearance 2019 F350 drw lb with Goosebox

I will be picking up a 2020 Solitude 310-GK next Saturday from the dealer, towing with a 2019 F350 DRW LB. Even though I only need the 16K version, I ordered a 20K gooseebox incase I upgraded trailers in the future.

On a Facebook forum, I was told that I will need a 1 inch extender on the goose hitch ball. Anyone have experience with this truck to have adequate bed clearance with a goosebox?

Good call on the 20k, it is only rated up to a 4000# pin weight and you will be shocked how quickly that can go! The 16k is only rated up to a 3200# pin weight which is NOT enough for ANY Solitude.

I have the 20k Goosebox and an 18 Ram DRW 4x4. I originally started with a standard Curt ball. It didn’t give me adequate bed clearance. I bought a ball that had additional two inches of lift and that gives me just enough clearance.

Where did you get the ball that has 2 inch lift? Did it fit in the Ram puck system?
