We are from Canada. We just went to our local dollar store and in the hardware section they had a roll of good rubber shelve liner. I don’t remember the size but we used one roll in the storage area for under our bar b q. It covered a good size area. Nothing moves and it hasn’t ripped. We also put one under our tool box in the front storage area and it did the whole front area, side to side.
Very happy with it!Pino and sherry

I used some left over rubber roofing that I had found and kept for something. It finally found its purpose. Cut to fit. Works great. Doesn't have much weight to it. Might have to check with local commercial roofers for scrap.

Can order in different sizes and is lightweight. Easy to load and unload stuff.

I got some foam rubber interlocking 2' square pads from Lowe's that would work for this. The rubber horse stall mats at tractor supply would be more durable but would add a lot of weight.

I tried those in a prior camper, but too much of a PITA in the end. Reason being is that anything with some mass to it will imprint into them, and you then just cannot pull it out. For instance, I use milk crates to hold gear and they'd stay in-place great because the mesh pattern on the base would sink right into the foam.
Absolute best thing I've found - DeeZee truck bed mat. For my immediately prior camper, I cut up one to fit that I bought at a salvage yard from an old 8-foot bed Ford for $18. Good pressure washing and brush scrub and it was perfect! I picked up a factory second of this one over this winter for $55 for the GD: https://www.amazon.com/Dee-Zee-DZ850...5534195&sr=8-5Rob & Nikki + Cloverfield

I had some large cardboard boxes laying around so I cut them up and lined the bottom with cardboard. Works for now.
