My 2014 developed a leak at the grey valve. Dropping the underbelly and putting it back is a pain. What I did was run angle iron 16” in front of the drain line and cut the underbelly at that point. I used the angle iron to fasten the underbelly and allow me to roll back a few feet. I’ve been under there three times since then. Using this method allows one person to remove four screws and access all the valves.

I would think a few 2"x4"x8' pieces with a ratchet strap would be the correct tool. Start on one side and then lift together with multiple 2x4's and straps.

Our 374 is in the shop right now. A bunch of problems that they are fixing including a hydraulic leak. The dealership shop is going to put this in, instead of the pink sponge stuff. KEN

I stopped at RV Country in Coburg, Oregon. The service manager took me in the shop to see what's happening with my Solitude. The tech was just finishing installing the new hydraulic ram for the kitchen slide. Here is a couple pictures. They will be putting the rockwool insulation in once the hydraulic ram passes the leak testing. I might get it home tomorrow or Friday if it passes my inspection.

I wonder how they are going to reinstall the chloroplast at the seams they made.

What is the correct way to connect the chloroplast at a seam? KEN

Well, I pulled the chloroplast back along with the Mylar or whatever the foil is. Took it back almost to the steps. I got between the tanks and ran my arm as far as possible in the insulation and felt no dampness. Felt the bottom of the flooring and it was dry. Nothing, zilch, nada. Left it open for a day in the 100F day and then buttoned it up. BTW, putting the bottom back on is not for the faint of heart. Now on to look at posts concerning dripping condensation from the BR light fixture.

Ratchet straps? What would the straps attach to? You're not suggesting to encircle the trailer are you?

Is that BR = Bedroom or Bathroom? not that it matters if the light fixture is wet I'd do a careful inspection of the roof.

BR=bedroom. Somehow condensation is getting to the light above the bed.

I would look carefully at that front AC as the source of the moisture in the light fixture.

Could you make a dead man using a floor jack ?

Never tried it, just thinking. I've done this with floor joist, beams in tight places.

Of course having a smooth hard work surface would help.

    good luck
