SeaTac area RV repair recommendations
Well it doesn't happen to me very often but I am in need of an RV repair facility. My tank heaters have quit and I have a frozen grey water tank valve. In order to properly test/repair this the bottom will have to be removed. More than I can tackle on my own. Full repair facilities do this often.
We will be in the Sea/Tac area next week for most of the month. If anyone has good stories to tell about repairs from different places in the area I would appreciate it. We are out of warranty so any repair facility will do, this is not a brand specific repair.Dallas

I would contact Tacoma RV, they're a Keystone dealer but should be able to handle it or point you in the right direction.

Dallas, how about aa mobile repair person? Possibly someone you are camping near can recommend, or park people.

It may come to that. I am pretty sure the coraplast under belly will have to be removed to get to the valves, tank, and heater. If course they have to be over the axles as well. If your in a comfy shop with smooth floors it's an onerous job. If you are crawling around in snow, mud, rocks, etc. It's excruciating.
Just trying to get the best situation for a successful repair. It's hard to get service departments to answer their phone, so I leave a message. Of the ones that called back one said they don't work on GD the other said they would be happy to put me on the schedule for early March.
Till I get this resolved we will be staying in warmer weather.Dallas

Dallas, sorry your gray froze . I know we all hate to do this but what if you cut a hole in the coroplast near the valve (not right under ) and place a lightbulb or heater in there to get the thaw going.

Thanks for the suggestions guys.
For some reason I haven't made myself get out in the cold, crawl around in the snow and ice, to get this resolved. We were scheduled to leave tomorrow, one reason I am not working too hard on it. I really don't want to mess with the coroplast, past experiences with it have not gone well for me.
I am going with plan C. As soon as this storm breaks we are driving to warmer weather. We were scheduled to head up the Seattle area in a week anyway we are just cutting Jackson Hole Ski resort out of the tour. We should have it in above freezing temps by tomorrow afternoon and 40-50f weather the duration of the weekend. I did find a place that would have a look at it on Monday.
SeconChance Rob, people haven't been posting on the service reviews too much. When I searched it a lot of the comments are years old. But it does give a general idea of the situation. Thanks for sharing.Dallas
